Spring has Sprung....Maddie Mae turned one!!!!

Now the first few I took, thixs is Maddie eating lunch at the Macaroni Grill on her actual birthday on Thursday.

Putting together the party gifts. the theme was "Spring has Sprung" with flowers- so all the kids got to take home a painted bucket with soil in it and a packet of flower seeds.
My awesome awesome friend Jen (the canadians we always talk about) baked an incredible cake. There was not a crumb left...except for Maddie's but we will get to that.

This is about two-thirds of the attendees. Even though I was all sappy last week because we didn't have family here for her party, I certainly was not feeling sad yesterday. I think Maddie gets that she is loved.

Okay, this is funny....she never dug into the cake NEVER. we gave her some spoonfulls, but she just sat there like a priss.

She finally opted for some Cheerios. She may look like Jacob, but she is nothing like Jacob.
