I'm FREE years old!!!!!!

At least that is what he likes to tell people. He woke up this morning and I said, "it's your birthday, you turn three today can you believe it?" He said, "Yeeeessssss" like duh! He got a few gifts today...he is getting the rest on Saturday. He got a tricycle that cost us more to ship than to buy, a basketball goal and his sister got him a Pingu dvd.

Josie (our nanny) came in later with an 18 wheeler matchbox car hauler...he said, "Thank you sweet Josie for my present...you are my sweet sweet friend" Could ya die???? Josie was teary eyed to say the least

We both have to work today, but we have some other plans for him tonight....so I will post more later.

Quick update from the Dr. yesturday. Jacob is 15.7 kilos, 93cm and healthy as a horse. Maddie's head lag is pratically gone. SHe is gaining 30 grams a day the last month as opposed to 9 grams a day and she is up to 5.85 kilos (12.8 pounds) So at 5 months she is still in the 5th percentile, but hanging on. Guess she will just be petite. SHe is still in 0-3 month clothes and size 1 diapers...can you say polar opposite of big bro!!!! He was 22 pounds at 5 months!!!!

There was a wedding in the backyard of our house in College Station this weekend. A really good friend of Justin's and Jordan's. I have pics, but I need to get permission before I post a few. As soon as I do, I will. It's a very marital house I guess. I got engaged on the front lawn before it was built and now someone got married in the backyard.

Howdy! There has been a mass internet outage in our part of Doha...they are saying that we will not have any internet access for several days! Therefore, we will not have any home phone service during that time. Please pass the word! We can check messages and e-mail from work only!

Life is good here, all is well. Work is going well for both of us. Jacob keeps telling random strangers that he is, "going on a BIG BIG airplane to go see Christmas". He is looking forward to his and daddy's birthday. Maddie has kicked it into high gear with the talking. She talks non stop....I'm sure that's a sign. She was quiet as a mouse the first month she was here and then pissed the entire time she had on the brace and npow she laughs and smiles and talks and talks.

Every year we have a ghost hunting trip and this year I missed out because, well....y'all know why. This year they went to Austin and had their palm read, chased ghosts through the halls and elevator shafts of the Driskall and hung out at Fado's (my FAVE!!!)
I sent them a cookie bouqet representing, the palm reading, ghost hunting and drinking because I love them and thought what a nice surprise it would be for them and I miss them all so much. Well it turns out that they surprised me right back and were missing me because apparently I didn't miss the trip either...(either did Patti who is in Belgium this year). They brought us along and I love them for it and I am crying as I type this. Thanks for thinking of me, I adore y'all and I WON'T be missing next years trip to New Orleans.
I'm going out on a limb here and saying this is how this Paula pic took place...they were probably looking for the palm reading place and afraid they missed it when Paula very sarcastically points out the huge freaking sign ahead from the van and says something like, "Or that could be it right there" and then they all bust out laughing like they do and then Paula hops out to take a picture with the sign because Paula invented signs, she invented palm reading and because she is the sharpest one of the bunch.

Shay is freaking smoking...Lisa will have a square on occassion, but I think this would be a first for the Shayster.
